About MRIGuessr

MRIGuessr is an educational game for practicing MRI-based brain localization through limited evidence, three-dimensional guessing, and anatomical feedback. It is an early prototype built for learning, not a clinical tool.

The interactive 3D brain surface used for placing guesses (a brain-mask hull in MNI space).

The Automated Anatomical Labelling atlas (116 regions) used to name the structure at each location.

Software

Built with Next.js and React. 3D rendering uses Three.js with React Three Fiber and drei; MRI volumes are rendered with Niivue and parsed with nifti-reader-js. Each library is used under its own open-source license.
